5K!!

I ran in my first 5k this weekend to benefit Rex Fleming, a little boy in our town who has a brain tumor.  It was an amazing event that raised over $22,000!!!  There were over 700 people in the race!  I (we... I started the race with my friend Megan) didn't know what I was doing and ran with the non-competitive so I started about 5 minutes after the timer started and with mostly walkers, but they timed me at 37 minutes so I think that I probably ran 3.2 miles in about 32 minutes. I'm not exactly sure on my time, I just know that's the first time I've EVER ran over 2 miles.  Jason had the flu so he didn't get to run.  He would have done great... he can run it in about 24 minutes! He runs 6 miles all the time!  We're planning to start running some 5k's together. 

Sadly, I forgot my camera so I didn't even get a picture!  

I was super sore on Saturday, and we spent the rest of the day at home!

Sunday I did take Morgan to the Justin Bieber movie, Never Say Never. We went with  friends and had a blast.  

Sunday, Jason was feeling much better!
