Looking back...

* I updated my other blog with a great sale going on at Snapdragons... I even added a cute little boy football ouftit! *
Tonight I was telling Jason Morgan told me today that she wanted to be a ballerina for Halloween. I though that was GREAT b/c she already had an outfit. That got us talking about what they were last year. Sadly, we couldn't remember what Kennedy was! So... we went to the trusty blog http://momojaswhit.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html and took a ride down memory lane to last October. Looking back made me reminence about Kennedy's baby stages and last year's amazing football season. WOW! It was so fun! I hope this years proves to be even better! I have my hopes set high!

This week a few friends and I painted some letters for our friend, April's baby shower. April is having her 3rd baby in a few weeks. It's a girl and we had a small, low key shower at the pool today. Kelly, the brains behind the decorations bought the letters, flowers, etc. that we painted and put in the plants. We were all in agreement that all summer baby showers should be at the pool.

On another note, my migraines have been REALLY bad! I've had a migraine probably 15 out of the 30 days of the month. I've given in to getting on a preventative... Topamax! I have a pretty high pain tolerance but I have too much going on and I'm tired of it! Have any of you been on Topamax? How was it?

What cute letters and whatnot! So so cute! And a great idea for a pool shower! How fun! Anyhow, I hope you are feeling better soon. That has got to stink! I have been having a lot of headaches with this pregnancy, but I normally don't, and I would just hate having migranes often. Hope you are better soon...hopefully that medicine will work for you!!

Those letters are adorable! That shower by the pool looks like so much fun.

Oooooo...I'm so sorry you have migraines. I can't imagine what that would be like. I HATE even getting a bad headache, much less a migraine! I hope that medicine helps!

The shower looks so cute! I have been on Topamax on two seperate occasions. It makes my hands and feet numb and tingly. That is a bit bothersome, but it does help the headaches. Sorry you are suffering... migraines are horrible!!

What a cute idea with the letters. Hey please feel free to send Morgan and Kennedy over when you have a migraine and need to rest, just call me. I will be glad to take them. Funny about Halloween, Jake decided this weekend he wanted to be WallE. I found a costume that I will be making for him that is so cute! I am so ready for fall. Hope the medicine helps!

Loved the baby shower ideas! What a fun idea to have one at the pool, too.

I'm so sorry about your headaches. I have never tried the medicine you mentioned. I had migraines so bad for almost 12 years then I went to a "voo doo" doctor and have really not had a so called migraine in 6 years. He claimed that I was allergic to the birth control pills I was taking. My sister has them bad and her doctor thinks it is her birth control pills, too. How many years have you suffered from migraines? The "voo doo" doctor was really a type of allergy specialist that used electricity to rid you of allergies. It was truly amazing how they tested you--if you were allergic to something your muslces would almost completely stop working. If you are interested, I can email you more info. He doesn't practice anymore, but I remember seeing on the Interent that there are several allergy specialists like him throughout the U.S.

How cute! I am going to have to steal this idea for some future baby showers.

Mine have been really bad lately also. I think it is because of the heat. I have had success on Topamax before!!

I have had success with Topamax. My migraines have been really bad lately also, but I think it is from the heat.

Does Jason know a kid by the name of Will Foster? He was a freshman last year at ACU and plays football? J.R. coached with his dad and his mom was the Athletic Trainer. Really great family!!
