We went to the Metroplex to see my sister, Kim, and Cooper (Scott was out of town) for a few days during our spring break. We shopped and went to the Great Wolf Lodge. The Great Wolf Lodge is right by the Gaylord Hotel in Grapevine. Both are beautiful places!
This was the crazy water slide that I rode with Kim, Whitney, and Julie. You shoot through the slide and then sling from side to side in this large bowl (for lack of a better word.) Soooo fun! Morgan just missed the height requirement to ride it.
This is the large bucket that dumps when the bucket gets full.
Morgan and Kennedy riding the carousel at the mall.
Cooper and Kennedy playing in the baby area.
Kennedy crawling and Cooper watching. Kennedy LOVED to crawl all over the place in the baby area! Kennedy and Cooper loved the water!
Cooper playing in the fountains.
More crawling!
Morgan and her friend, Cooper. Cooper's family was at the Great Wolf as well. They had so much fun together!

Morgan floating on the tube with Jason in the lazy river.

This was right when we got to the indoor water park. It was FREEZING outside but 84 degrees in the waterpark.
Cooper and Morgan... what is she saying to him here? :)

On Wednesday we hit some of my favorite stores... Babies R Us, Forever 21, Steinmart, Macy's (for kid's clothes), and DSW shoes. I found these cute boots that I had seen at a style show on the clearance rack at DSW shoes for $34 and Kim gave me her $10 off coupon. So, I got these cute boots for $24. I think they'll look super cute with a black dress.
This is my 2nd favorite outfit I got for Kennedy at Babies R Us. Love that store, b/c most of their outfits are $7.99- $9.99. I love the Koala Baby brand.

Cooper and Morgan
It was a short but sweet trip. We had so much fun! Morgan was very well behaved and we had 2 tired girls on the way home yesterday. They were both asleep within minutes of leaving the Lodge. We stopped at Panera Bread on the way home for dinner and got home around 10:00 last night. Today I judged a cheerleading tryout , we had pancakes for dinner, and now it's time for Morgan and Kennedy to go to bed so we can get the house put back together! ;)

Looks like you had a great time. I am so happy for you and glad you had safe travel as well. Thank goodness it was an indoor park--good ol' Texas springtime weather threw us a curve ball!!...but then it really isn't springtime yet--it was just acting like it.
I love your boots--too cute!!! Shopping is so much fun in the Metroplex.
XXOOXXOO!
Oh Whitney...I just love keeping up with your blog. What a sweet family you have and what a FUN thing for you to do as a family. I can only imagine how thrilled your little Morgan must have been. Im so happy it was a great trip...and you even got to go shopping!!! I think a girls shopping trip sounds like a lot of fun. Lets get together soon, maybe we can do coffee one morning at Tuscany's or Starbucks! What kind of schedule does Ashley have? Maybe she can come too? Think bout it and we will figure something out. Have a blessed weekend!!!
I know a TON of people that were going to Great Wolf this week. We are just starting our spring break here, and it looks like it's gonna be a LONG week!!:) Having a CPA for a husband is really crumby for spring break plans! We woke up to snow this morning. I'm just praying it warms up so we can spend some time outside!:)
I love the new boots. You are such a good shopper!
Okay, first off...LOVE the new boots! So cute! You have the best taste! ;) And I agree...love getting to shop outside of Abilene. Doesn't happen too often for me, but when it does, I go to town! :) Glad yall had a great time in FW. We haven't been to GWL yet, but Aaron keep saying we need to go. Maybe soon! Anyhow, loved all the pictures. Your girls really are the cutest things! Jason has 3 pretty girls, what a lucky guy! :) See you soon!!!
So...this is so random, but cracked me up...I was thinking of ordering Little Panda tonight for supper for the boys and I, and ya know, I am supposed to be on my little diet, and the letters I just had to type for the word verification was "nopandi" HA! Guess even blogger is trying to help me stay motivated! :) Ok! See ya!
Looks like such fun!! I'm glad that ya'll had a great time even though it was short. Kennedy looked like she had a ball crawling in the water!!
I am so glad you all got to come down. The girls are so precious and have grown so much. I miss my little stick tight and K Rhee.
Looks like so much fun. Glad everyone enjoyed it and the little cousins got to visit each other. I told your dad tonight that you and I are going to have to go shopping together. You and I are the shop till we drop shoppers I think. I wear the other two (K&A) out. Glad you all made it home safe and sound.
I am glad that you posted pictures! I have always wanted to go there. It looks like you all had a great time! btw...I say GO FOR the doctorate! You would be great at that level. My motto, life is too short so just go for it!
We went to GWL too! LOL. Great minds think a lot. LOVE the boots.
