BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!! At least, we think it's a boy. We have our official sonogram on January 23rd.

I think I've decided that I'm going to become a boy clothing designer. I went to The Grandmother Shop (the best children's clothing boutique) while we were in Odessa for Christmas with Jason's family. I could have spent a small fortune on girl clothes and did not find one single thing to buy for a boy. I don't like animals, trucks, pooh, sail boats, etc. Well, that's unfortunate, b/c that's all there is! Sorry, but boys stuff is just not as cute as girls! You think I'm bad... I took Jason with me to Old Navy and Target tonight. He's way more opinionated about the boys stuff than girls. So funny! He He's even been on me about drinking milk! Never said anything about what I ate with Morgan. At first I was shocked when Whitney said it was a boy- what, no bows? All those clothes I've saved from Morgan- I can't reuse them (still sad about that)?

Now, I can't wait to watch him throwing a football with Jason, Jason teaching him how to tackle, gettting really dirty (Morgan already does that) etc.

We have a name... Slaton Stokes. Stokes is after Jason's teammate and fellow linebacker at Angelo State, Greg Stokes. Greg was one of Jason's best friends in college. He was killed in a car accident after their next to last game Jason's senior year. Jason was the last person to see him. He left Jason's house late after the game on Saturday and fell asleep at the wheel about 15 minutes outside of San Angelo. Jason was devastated, blamed himself, and was extremely depressed for about a year. I didn't know him then, but I know it's still hard for him sometimes. We've always said if we had a son, we would name him after Greg. Greg is being inducted into the Angelo State Athletics Hall of Fame in February. He probably would have been drafted and played pro football after college. I know he holds a special place in Jason's heart.

I'm anxious to have my real sonogram in January just to make sure. You never know.
