January

I'm starting from the beginning of my photos!  They started in January!  

Kennedy watches Morgan all day at her cheer competitions.  After we got home from one competition, Morgan and Kennedy made a homemade cheer outfit (do you see LCA in duck tape on her shirt?  wristbands too!!).  I love their creativity!!  They pull Morgan's rug into the living room and cheer/ tumbling is on!! :)

 In January we also had the football banquet!  

 Oklahoma City cheer competition... our girls got first.  They have gotten first in each competition except NCA Nationals.

 In January, I joined a gym and have been working out consistently 3-4 days a week.  I go with my friend and neighbor Jen and we have a blast!!  I actually look forward to the workouts!  It gives me energy and is a big stress reliever!  I've been doing kickboxing, strength and cardio, and Insanity classes at the gym!

Update!!

Much of my reason for not blogging comes from being crazy busy!!  Working full time, Jason's crazy schedule and getting the girls to their activities= too busy to blog!   Morgan is doing competitive cheer this year and has found her love!  She is practicing all the time and has learned to do multiple back handsprings.  She's working on her back tuck now!  She's made a lot of progress this year.  She's doing great in school... All A's, has an amazing teacher and loves 3rd grade!!  Other than that, it's kickball in the evenings with our neighbors or jumping on the trampoline and teaching herself new tumbling skills! 

 Morgan also played basketball this year and continues to be a spit fire on the court!!  She is a go- getter, hustling at all times!  Jason coached her for the second year in a row!

 Kennedy's passion is soccer!  I've never seen a 5 year old so dedicated.  She is always playing soccer in the evenings when we get home!  She loves it!  She is so fun to watch b/c she's always around the ball taking it from the other team or heading to score!  She is quite competitive too- haven't figured out if that's a good or bad thing.  She gets really upset when her team (The Shortcakes) lose!!!!    

Long time, no blog!!

I have been a baaaaad blogger!  I just found a love for Instagram and post on there instead.  It's quicker, easier, and I can keep a scrapbook of our life there so easily!  I still want to blog though!  I want my kids to be able to look back and read a scrapbook of their lives.

So, in an attempt to start blogging again, I'm going to recap the last year!!

Last summer we went on a fun cruise with friends... Key West and Cozumel.  To say it was fun, is not giving it justice!  It was an absolute blast!!!!

 We also spent several days on a little family vacay in Galveston.  We loved our time together there!! I've got to download my other pictures!  More will be added to this post later!! :)

Beginning of Summer!!

I've been a bad blogger!!  I can't even remember the beginning of summer, but here are some pictures!  We have had a blast!  Jason and I went on a cruise with fun friends, the girls went to CO with my parents, we've spent time at the pool, waterpark, movies, mall, traveling, been to the beach in Galveston and much more.  We also painted half our house! :)  We celebrated Kennedy's 5th birthday party with a swim party. Kennedy has spent a lot of time with her cousin Cooper.  Morgan has attended volleyball, basketball, and softball camp. She has also fully immersed herself in cheer!  She is doing competitive cheer next year and LOVES it!  She practices all the time.  She is doing a back walk over and back handspring!  I love her passion for it!  She loves sports, but she puts her heart and soul into tumbling and cheer!  I go back to work next week, but only 2 1/2 days a week and in Midlo!  Whoo hoo!  So, so excited!!  More pictures to come but these are the only ones I had downloaded on my computer!! :)

Taylor Swift

Morgan and I went to the Taylor Swift concert Saturday night.  The diagnostician at my school couldn't go last minute and was selling her tickets so I bought them and surprised Morgan!  I figured she needed something fun with her arm being in a cast for the last 5 weeks!  I would call her concert a production!  Numerous outfit and stage changes!  Amazing!!!!!!

 Our seats were in level 2 but towards the back!  Luckily she came to the back and sang on a stage at the back for several songs!  So fun!  I couldn't get a good pic of her b/c of the lights!

Fractured arm

We were watching this little hustler play a great soccer game and I looked over to watch Morgan do her 10th back bend kick over for the day.  This time it didn't go as planned.  Her left arm (her writing hand) gave out and she fell.  She started crying and holding her arm.

 It ended up looking like this and being a displaced fracture of medial epicondyle. She had surgery on May 25th.  She gets her cast off in 3 more weeks.  I'm ready to see my spunky girl doing cartwheels all over the house again!!

 The day we got home from the hospital her sweet friends brought her lots of goodies!  Our nurse from her elementary and his son (who is in her class) brought her pretty bright flowers).  She was still not feeling very good in this picture. 

 Julia brought her cucakes and a balloon. 

 Jake and Jack brought her balloons and a card. 

 Cade and Lainey brought her candy and movies. Her teacher even stopped by and brought her her makeup work and a stuffed frog!
